The Smart Gateway is the networking hub that connects EP Cube hardware (such as hybrid inverters, and storage) of a EP Cube Home Energy Storage System suite to our monitoring and management software. Once the Smart Gateway is connected to the internet, it begins reporting your energy production, consumption, and site information to us and will continue to do so as long as it is online.
We may maintain pages for Eternalplanet on social media platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google, YouTube, Instagram, and other third party platforms. When you visit or interact with our pages on those platforms, the platform provider’s privacy policy will apply to your interactions and their collection, use and processing of your personal information. You or the platforms may provide us with information through the platform, and we will treat such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may receive personal information about you from third-party sources. For example, a business partner, such as a solar energy system installer, a grid services aggregator, or a utility, may share your contact and energy-related information with us if you have expressed interest in learning specifically about our products or services, or the types of products or services we offer. Similarly, a business partner may share profile or registration information if they assist you in setting up a Eternalplanet Account. We may obtain your personal information from other third parties, such as marketing partners, publicly-available sources, existing Eternalplanet customers, and data providers. In certain circumstances, Eternalplanet collects your personal information from your installer at your direction. These third-parties’ privacy policies govern their sharing of information with Eternalplanet and their other processing, so we advise you to contact the third-parties for further information.
We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and activity occurring on or through the Service. The information that may be collected automatically includes your computer or mobile device operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, device identifier, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, the website you visited before navigating to our website, general location information such as city, state or geographic area; and information about your use of and actions on the Service, such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, and length of access. We may disclosure your information to third party companies and individuals that provide services for or on behalf of us or help us operate the Service (such as payment processors, customer support, hosting, analytics, email delivery, marketing, database management, as well as permit and rebate application preparation and submission services.)
At your direction, we may share or instruct our service providers to share your personal information with third party energy provider partners or enable third party energy provider partners to collect information directly via our Service. For example, if you wish to sign up with a third party energy provider (such as a utility company or an energy aggregator) or submit an application to a utility or governmental authority, we may share your information with such provider. This may include, without limitation, your name, email address, system location information, meter identifier information, and augmented revenue grade meter data. Any such use of your personal information by a third party energy provider as set forth in this paragraph will be governed by such provider’s privacy policy. Accordingly, we suggest that you review the third party energy provider’s privacy policies to inform yourself as to that entity’s privacy practices.
If you grant us permission, we may share your information with an installer of Eternalplanet systems for purposes of facilitating a transaction; monitoring and servicing your Eternalplanet product; customer service; and/or other purposes. This may include your system’s energy consumption and usage times. The installer may partner with other companies with whom your information is shared.
If you grant us permission, we may share your information with Canadian Solar Group company to process the indicated data to receive commercial communications(latest releases,news,products,service announcements,webinars and events) by email.
We may share your personal information and performance data about your system with developers via our API. We are joint data controllers with the developers who are using our API for any data we share with them but separate controllers for any other processing activities they undertake. If you would like to exercise any of your data subject rights, you can contact either us or the developer.
Subject to your marketing preferences, we share information with social media platforms, such as Facebook, and advertisers to present our ads to you on other platforms. For example, we may share with Facebook actions that you take on our website such as your visits to our website, your interactions on our website, use of Facebook tools such as Facebook Connect, and information collected from cookies or similar technologies including the Facebook pixel. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, improve our marketing practices, and helps us deliver more relevant advertising to you (including on social media such as Facebook): for this activity, we are a joint data controller with Facebook. This means that we have to provide you with this notice, but you should contact Facebook if you wish to exercise your data protection rights. For instance, you may be able to submit information through the Eternalplanet Developer Website or Eternalplanet Community forum, and you may choose to display your name, username, and a link to your user profile along with the content you submit. We may disclose your information to professional advisors, such as lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.

In this section, we enable you to obtain access and control the data that we collect, use and share. Through device permissions, in-app settings, communication preferences, your Eternalplanet Account, etc. - you are in the driver’s seat, even when it comes to your data.
If you have registered for a Monflow Account, you may review and update certain personal information in your account profile by logging into the Eternalplanet Account.
If you no longer want to receive promotional-related emails or messages, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the communication received from us, and, if you have a Eternalplanet Account, by adjusting your preferences in the settings section for both mobile and web applications. If you receive marketing text messages from us, you may opt out of receiving further marketing text messages from us by replying STOP to our marketing message. Even if you opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us you may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing communications.
We may allow service providers and other third parties to use cookies and similar technologies to track your browsing activity over time and across the Service and third party websites.
We may make available certain privacy settings on the Service, such as options to control how and whether we share your data with installers. If available, you may exercise these controls using the settings section in both mobile and web applications.
